Understanding the table

Black Jack is played on a simple semi circular table, aptly called, the blackjack table. It has a felt topping and the edges are padded and sometimes have a vinyl covering. Most tables accommodate between 5 to 7 players.

The dealer stands on the straight edge of the table and places her cards on that side of the table. The players stand around the semi circle.
